Our Story


Pegasus began in 1969 as a full-service janitorial firm serving the Southern California business community. Since then, we have evolved into the premier facility services company in the Southwestern United States, with more than 800 employees serving over 300 facilities.

Early on, Pegasus recognized the growing and unique cleaning needs of companies operating in critical environments. To respond to these needs, we launched Pegasus Cleanroom Services – providing comprehensive cleaning services to controlled environments – and Pegasus Data Center Cleaning – for the cleaning and maintenance needs of the growing data computing and storage industry.

In 2009, Pegasus formed an Employee Stock Ownership Plan and four years later, became 100 percent employee-owned – a first in the cleaning services industry. Our emphasis is on hiring only the most experienced and highly trained staff (a process that includes full employee background checks and a rigorous drug testing policy).
